🗞 New customer 🗞
As part of its activity, La Nouvelle République du Centre Ouest (NRCO) has decided to equip itself with the Simplicité platform in order to develop its sales support application for its sales representatives.
We are delighted with this new collaboration, which will enable the newspaper to acquire an order taking application for its sales representatives.

New recruits at Simplicité!
We are pleased to welcome two new recruits!
After having passed through IBM, BMC Software, Cisilion and Riverbed Technology we are pleased to welcome Jérôme Bernetière who will be in charge of developing direct and indirect sales.
On the technical side, we welcome Laureline Gagnon who will alternate for 3 years at Simplicité! Laureline will alternate between Lannion where her school (ENSSAT) is located and Paris. She will work on internal projects and then become an expert in Simplicité!

🤝 1er Meetup Low-Code 👌
The Meetup group was created in July 2018, it has 192 members as we write its lines! We organised our first Meetup on the theme of the Low-Code on Monday 1 October 2018. Everyone was there for this first event, which allowed us to bring together about forty curious people. Two platforms were presented, Simplicité and K2 (with the integrator FlowFactory).
This First Meetup was therefore the opportunity to present two types of Low-Code platforms, on two different technologies, one with Java, the other with .Net . Finally, we had the pleasure of hearing from Nicolas Delemer, Head of the IT department at ANSM. He was able to explain why ANSM chose a Low-Code platform for the development of its specific business applications.

Disruption on the floorboards
Deauville is not only for the American festival, it is also the place chosen for the second summit of the “disruption”, the Disruptiv’ Summit. This will be an opportunity for us to meet many IT decision-makers and to speak on a theme that is dear to us, digital transformation through low-code platforms.

🗓 Save the date ! 🗓
From 29 to 30 January 2019 we will be present for the second edition of AP Connect ! The purpose of this exhibition is to bring together all the players in the IT ecosystem who offer solutions for public administrations.
This year the show will have a special flavour since it will be held at the same time as the National Congress of Internet Cities!

📱 Simplicité becomes (even more) mobile 📱
Simplicité becomes easier to “deploy” on the mobile!
The Simplicité platform was already responsive for mobile use, it will very soon be even more integrated with smartphones thanks to the possibility of publishing directly on the stores (Android and soon IOS) the applications developed with the Simplicité platform. You can read this article to learn a little more about how to create, test, develop your (mobile) applications with Simplicité.
🚀 New features of the platform 🚀
We told you about it during our last user club and many of you wanted it, the first new-newsletter for developers left. The replay is available below:
- All standard Excel exports have been changed from.xls files to.xlsx files.
- Translation of links with plural syntax “label|labels”.
- The floating action bar now displays additional actions within the small plus menu (or hamburger menu).
- The calendar time will use the time meridians (AM/PM) for the English language only.
- Documents are now supported in the mass update.
- Do you want to change fonts easily? Google fonts are now automatically loaded. Just enter his name in your theme and hop! The font is displayed (after a small emptying of the cache, of course).
- New download dialog box. No more endless spinner, now when the recording action is too long ( >3seconds), the loading is executed in background task. This way you can continue working while the file is uploading!
- New feature allowing to share via email or social networks, the deep link, titles, images or texts of an object. This functionality is based on the parameter SOCIAL_SHARE .
- Changing shortcuts for UNDO = CTRL-SHIFT-Z REDO = CTRL-SHIFT-Y (to keep the default behavior CTRL-Z/Y on the input fields to cancel the entry.)
⚰️ End of life for 3.1 ⚰️
End of maintenance for v 3.1
The maintenance of Simplicité version 3.1 has just blown its last spark plug… It joins versions 2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 2.7 and 3.0 in the “cemetery” of versions that will no longer be maintained.
What does this mean in practice?
There will be no more evolution, back-porting, improvement, maintenance operations on the “3.1” of Simplicité*. The latter changes from Long Term Maintenance status to Expired. Of course, version 3.1 does not stop working.
A few months ago we announced the end of support and maintenance for version 3.1, it is now the turn of version 3.1 to take the path to a well-deserved retirement.
However, we encourage you to consider migrating your applications to 4.0 to take advantage of the many new features of the V4.
