nouvelle-version-cover-blog

We are pleased to announce the release of the new version of the Simplicité Software platform.

This is version 3.1, which is the culmination of a little over a year of development. The improvements affect every part of the platform.

Substantial work has been done on the overall performance of the Simplicité platform through a finer memory management of objects and their loading time.

Application development is greatly simplified with the arrival of a new multi-tab script editor, Of a module management completely redesigned profession and especially the appearance of Scopes dedicated to an application domain.

We are also seeing support for new platforms as a service coming. Cloud (PaaS), such as Red Hat OpenShift and Heroku. They are in addition to PaaS based on CloudFoundry already supported: IBM Bluemix and Pivotal Web Services. Note that Simplicité also runs on containers. Docker. We don't forget On-Premise with the official support of JDK8.

We have enriched the services REST and simplified access to business objects between instances Simplicité. We now also offer new native connectors to Salesforce and OpenDataSoft.

Beyond the usual Ajax, Android, Flex APIs..., we now offer new APIs OpenSource APIs hosted on GitHub to facilitate the development of specific frontends in mode DevOps especially with technologies Node.js and NodeRed.

Since the Simplicité Software platform runs on one application server, or several, we had to offer simplified administration of Clusters, it is now done with the new cluster monitoring screens and the node management.

Finally, a new graphic identity enhances the user experience by streamlining the interfaces without losing functionality.

This new major version has barely been released, we can already tell you that a first minor version is in progress. It will also bring its share of new features (management of EAN bar codes, new system parameters, etc.). More details coming soon. Of course, our R&D teams are working hard on the next major iteration. The road map is being finalized and you won't be disappointed.
